91 camry air condition dash light keep blinking

My 91 camry a/c dash light keep blinking and no cool air
comes while driving. I have to hit the button and keep
the light on.

Any suggestions ?

Replenish your A/C charge with Freeze12. Probably just need freon.

is it store bought ? is it easy to install freon ?

Funny enough, I have a 90 Camry that is doing the same thing. I can almost assume that the 91 and 90 have pretty much the same system. If you are still reading replys to this post, plz let me know if a recharge helped your problem. I just got off the phone with TOYOTA service dept. and the guy told me that it sounds like my compressor is going bad (plz god dont let that be the case). If I find any new information I will post immediately. TY for the help and good luck to ya.

When the a/c light is blinking it usually indicates that the revolution sensor on the compressor notices a problem, ie a/c compressor isn't turning. This is very common if you go through a puddle, belt gets wet, resulting in the compressor not turning. You very well may have a problem with your compressor
