'02 front rotors

Hi Folks,

I'm just about to hit 60k on the Camry. Along with the timing belt and a few other miscellaneous items, it's obvious that I'll need to either turn or replace the front rotors. That got me to thinking about the possibility of aftermarket rotors. Anyone have any insight on this? I'd be grateful for brand recommendations as well as feedback. I went to Powerslot's website, but they have no product listings after the '01 model year (for the V6). Thanks in advance...

Just a note on the timing belt. On the newer Camry's I believe the replacement interval is 90K under normal driving conditions.

Don't replace your rotors unless you have to, or you have money to burn.

Money to burn? Hardly. I was keeping my hopes up for the Powerslots - on most applications they're not much more than the labor charge to have a set turned.

I was hoping for 90k but the maintenance schedule calls for 60k.

Don't change the timing belt until 90K unless you use under severe usage conditions.

Edmunds has 90K as interval for 2002 Camry V6

Gates says that 90K is for normal (2001 V6) and previous engines have 60 k for severe usage only.

I think you're making a mistake if you throw out the Toyota rotors for those others. You get what you pay for.
