DJ_Merle 07-15-2004, 11:21 PM sounds like a cool project man! Im lovin the chrome yellow, cant wait to see it on the charger! Lownslow 07-16-2004, 12:45 AM diggin the car my homie turned his into a slot car after we painted it and its bad it looks like a hemi but cant beat my Pro Stock civic hatch slot car krebs128 08-09-2004, 11:43 PM well i've been having trouble with my camera, keeps dying on me. but i was able to recently salvage some of the pics. so here they are. a pic of the hood and body, painted. i really love how this yellow chrome has turned out. http://img52.exs.cx/img52/8548/charger_5.jpg http://img52.exs.cx/img52/4323/charger_6.jpg here's the car, all taped up to paint the fender flares, window seals, door handles, and rear bumper. http://img52.exs.cx/img52/1595/charger_7.jpg instead of the usual black trim, i went with testors chrome. http://img52.exs.cx/img52/6523/charger_8.jpg i got the rims fitted, and it really looks awesome! i have the engine and chasis done, but don't have a camera yet. hopefully tomorrow i'll have more pics up. {(itchy)}{finger} 08-10-2004, 12:19 AM amazing! u noe wut i juss noticed? the sides (doors kinna, windows really) look liek the doors of the enzo! krebs128 08-10-2004, 12:28 AM http://www.tamiyausa.com/images/product/210/24273/gallery_2.jpg yea, i see what you're saying. if the c-pillars on the enzo were back further. This might be the first time I have heard an enzo be compared to a muscle car:lol: krebs128 08-11-2004, 10:27 PM here's a few more. engine's done, rims are on, all i need to do is finish the decals. http://img54.exs.cx/img54/3658/charger_9.jpg http://img54.exs.cx/img54/8619/charger_10.jpg http://img54.exs.cx/img54/455/charger_11.jpg krebs128 10-14-2004, 05:45 PM I almost forgot about this thread. Cleaning out my files and a came accrossed a few finished pictures of this Charger from a while back. Didn't want to start a new thread, but it is done. Enjoy. http://img91.exs.cx/img91/3816/charger_12.jpg http://img91.exs.cx/img91/9994/charger_13.jpg http://img91.exs.cx/img91/2264/charger_14.jpg http://img91.exs.cx/img91/2654/charger_15.jpg http://img91.exs.cx/img91/3213/charger_16.jpg http://img91.exs.cx/img91/5154/charger_17.jpg http://img91.exs.cx/img91/9672/charger_18.jpg The other car is a 1972 Stingray Corvette made by AMT. This was the worst model that I can ever remember building. Horrible chasis fitment, hood, rims did not fit on the axel and had to be drilled. Aweful.... ol' dude 10-14-2004, 06:08 PM That looks good!! I like how you taped off for the edges!! What kind of tape are you using?
