View Full Version : Posing on a rock. Posing on a rock. Schludwiller 05-21-2001, 12:45 AM Post 'em if you've got 'em. No rock is too small to be posed on. I'll start the thread with Anti-TreeHugger. Aren't that many places around here to do that, but we definitely come up with our own. gothamist 05-21-2001, 09:30 AM http://www.4x4lo.com/pikachu/pikachu_jeep.jpg rhombus 05-21-2001, 10:14 AM Here is my entry for the smallest rock :-) Snoopy 05-21-2001, 11:41 AM Found some rocks at the summit while Geo-Caching this weekend... http://members.home.net/sportage7/xsnoopy/xtra/xrock.jpg xterrabull 05-21-2001, 01:40 PM Originally posted by Snoopy Found some rocks at the summit while Geo-Caching this weekend... One of those pics (the second one) was the actual trail! I don't think it's still "posing" if you're actually on the right line to make it through the rocks... Now you're making me really wish we could go back there. :( Philosopher 05-21-2001, 05:03 PM Originally posted by gothamist Hey MT! One of those pics (the second one) was the actual trail! Quietly. At first glance, I thought the front tire was "supposed" to be on the large rock in the foreground; then I noticed that it was actually resting on some rocks behind the larger rock. Cool pic. Snoopy 05-22-2001, 01:31 AM Does this count as the biggest rock? http://members.home.net/sportage7/xsnoopy/xtra/snoopyrocks.gif xterrabull 05-22-2001, 01:34 AM Hah!:bloated: I hope you have sliders & skid plates! Schludwiller 05-22-2001, 02:54 AM Why is your Xterra humping that rock? ChuckH 05-22-2001, 04:05 AM Didn't you know humping rock is good for strength and stamina? 2-1/2 hours non-stop so far is proof that Xterra can do it all night! :dogpile: Schludwiller 06-25-2001, 01:18 PM John maintains that size doesn't matter. If you're sitting on slickrock you can often knock on the surface and hear that it's hollow. From the picture there are channels in the stuff. I wonder if it's from air pockets, or material that's broken down. Anybody know? brad77 04-10-2002, 02:24 AM Still had temp tags when I did this: superjens 05-27-2002, 10:46 PM 1 more for the collection :D http://www.superjens.com/junk/posing.jpg Mobycat 05-28-2002, 03:19 PM http://www.xterra-trail.net/2nd_mountain/2ndmountain002.jpg Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
