ABS and Brake lights were staying on, took to a shop, and they said the "71 and 72" codes kept popping up...
I have read elsewhere on this forum that the speed sensors might be at fault when the ABS and Brake lights stay on and the speedometer acts up, but they are telling me that the ABS controller needs to be replaced and we are talking $500+, and they told me the dealer might as well do it because they will have to reset the lights anyway
Don't want to replace the ABS controller if it is a simple speed sensor - would appreciate some guidance...THANKS!

Sensor around 36 bucks try it? if that doesn't rest the light try to disconnect the battery for 15 min then hook it back up. if that doesn't fix it take it in.
