1967 chevelle help with headers!!!gride29 07-14-2004, 11:56 AM I'm trying to install the recommended cerama-coated shorty style header by Dynomax and the header on the driver side is hitting the a-frame. Can anyone recommend a header that will fit? 68chevelle 07-14-2004, 06:53 PM umm, are they the corect headers for that car. cuz if they are there shouldnt be any problem. also whats the part number? 67chevy 08-16-2004, 02:38 PM small block or big block bdodge 08-20-2004, 07:39 PM I had the same problem with a set of Rodworks cerami's, I had to cut a bit of the back side of that A-frame. Obviously nothing that would harm the structure integrity. I took off about 1/2 inch with a cut off wheel. 6chevelle7 10-15-2004, 11:35 AM I had the same experience, I ended up buying full tubes after being bit twice by shorties. I put in DYNOMAX full headers with alternator bracket (Part numbers are 88300 and 85001). vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
