What coolent to put in a 93

Just had to replace the water pump and was wondering what coolent should I use? What did chevy use back in 93?

Probably green stuff. What did you drain?

Use the regular Green Antifreeze/Coolant. Dex-Cool was not made then (I don't think).

Use the traditional green stuff... I just put a radiator in a 93 APV.. I used green stuff.

As for Dex-Cool... yes, it was available in 1993. thats what me 93 Civic EX has been using all along

fyi: don't use dex-cool (pink / orange stuff) in older cars that didnt come with it.. Tends to make gaskets leak prematurely.
