i own a '04 taco prerunner 3.4 trd ( straight factory ) and im trying to survey on how many miles do you usually get on a full tank? streets and highway? i get only 240 on the street and 260 on highway.

On my 02 doublecab V6, I get anywhere between 265-300 miles before I fill up, depending how much I use the ac and how much speeding I've done. Usually when I fill up, I pump 12.5-14 gallons. But to help with mileage, I have a snug top fiberglass cover on the bed and a tornado product under the hood. I know the cover helps but don't know if the tornado does anything.

I usually get about 245-265 in city and about 250-285 on highway (but it can jump drastically). On my trip to Colorado in May, although the truck was struggling up I-70 E, I ended up getting 360+ miles on that tank. I guess coasting downhill at 80 helps? Shrug. The most before that was 333 when I pulled into a gas station in Monticello, UT in May of 2003. Yes, on highway 666. Heheh.

That is about what I get on 2000 Tacoma Pre-Runner. Sometimes on long trips like when driving between Vegas and Los Angeles I can get most of the time around 270 to 274 on a tank of gas. Hope this helps.
