thermostat replacement

Can anybody tell me where the thermostat is in on a 1993 Camry SE V6. I hear it is easy to replace. When I tried to find it, I followed the hose from the top of the radiator to the pipe and when I removed the 3 nuts and lifted the pipe up, I didn't see anything so I assume thats not where it goes. I was told that thermostats are on the top where the coolant first enters the engine. But I guess mine is different.

if you are standing in the front of the car, there are 2 hoses, one in the left (where it goes to the radiator cap) and the other one is on the right bottom (where the hose close to/next below oil cap) you pick that one. Follow that hose you should see the thermostat housing with sensor attach to it. To be able to work easily remove the battery and the cruise control body. In the thermostat housing should have 3 nuts as well, remember how you take it appart. Bytheway pay attention to the thermostat O ring, sometimes the old one stuck, you need to replace it otherwise will have some problem with the new one.
