turbo 4 sv21 camrycamrysteve 07-12-2004, 10:22 AM hi guys I've got a 2ltr sv21 5 speed 89' Camry. I live in Australia not sure if ours are any different or not? Anyway i know that a mid 80's Mr2 mid mount turbo set up is a factory bolt on for my camry. Has anyone done this before and does anyone know of any info or ideas that can point me into the direction of getting one of these set ups happening on my car? Thanks Steve wstsideconnection 01-13-2006, 04:36 AM let me know when u find out coz i wanna turbo my 1991 camry sv21 Toysrme 01-13-2006, 12:11 PM Yes, the 3s-gte's turbo manifold will bolt to a 3s-fe, and 5s-fe. Don't run more than 200bhp on a 3s-fe. You'll need a good fuel management setup like an SMT, or an e-manage along with a FPR. Everything else, is simply mixing, and matching parts. The only welding required is the turbo manifold to the cat. Be mindful... You obviously don't know much about it, and most 3s-fe to 3s-fte's run too lean, and melt a hole through a few pistons, or have some detonation & snap a rod in half. http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t103064.html http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t105924.html vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
