i cant remember if the TDI beetle has a turbo stock...does anybody know.

Ummm... yes. I'm pretty certain that's what TDI stands for; "Turbo Diesel Injection". The type of turbocharger depends a bit on the size/year of the engine.

TDI= Turbo Direct Injection and uses the VNT-17 Turbo
