Hi, im a 17 year old individual, and i personally do not really like the general direction of the Buick. On one side of the equation i like how Buick is getting rid of the Regal & Century and replacing it with the new LaCrosse. I don't know, but is it just me that Buick's cars are very similar. THese being the Century, Regal, Lesabre, Park Avenue? Obviously, there r differences like PA, being the top line model of all 4, and Century/Lesabre i guess being the economy class type vehicle? Well, good for stoppin the production of Regal/Century, and now they need to stop the production of Lesabre as well.

On the other hand, wtf is Buick doing wit the 3 SUV/minivan like vehicles. R they stupid or wat. Ok, havin the Rainier(SUV) is alright, since atleast one brand should have an SUV, but 2 minivan like vehicles being the Rendezvous and Terraza is just gay, IMO. Instead of bringing in the Terraza, they should bring in a damn 2drcoupe which might i add would give some damn interest to the young ppl out there. Buicks reputation or demographic in ppls opinions rite now is the 40+ year olds, especially grannys. Dam it Buick, like i said, start makin a decent 2 door vehicle. Hells a 200-240hp supercharged coupe which is like maybe 500lbs lighter than the Park Avenue would be a serious vehicle on the road. I would defnintely b interested in that , plus the prices of Buicks is decent for most of the motorists, b/c like 10 % of ppl are rich and they drive the Bimmers and Benz's and so on, but like a bigger % is middle class, and thats good that Buick's focus is on the middle class.

Thus, if i was BOb Lutz, i'd keep the Park Avenue for the luxury, the Lacrosse for a normal sedan vehicle, wit luxurious options of course, ONE minivan , Rainier(SUV) , and a 2 door coupe called the Asskicker. That would b a well rounded line up -
image -> reliable, and decently priced car for all types of ppl. Young or old.

opinions/flames welcomed -> dont care , just my 2cents.

That is a good point. Buick has given up on making anything that doesnt' suck. I can't believe that Tiger Woods has anything to do with this company. Rediculous how bad they have allowed themselves to come.

LOL!!! Buick Asskicker I like that, not that there ever was anything wrong with Grand National, right?

The problem with Buick is that they have no direction, they appeal to over 40's, but they don't want to, but they now run the risk of losing the traditional buying population with a move in this more youthful direction and what if the Youth decided they didn't want a LaCrosse because they thought Buick was an old-person brand? That's where the financial troubles begin...

ya grand national is an ill car, theres a chevrolet model that looks exactly like it, but i dont know wat model. But ya, the GN is what 80's? We need a modern one now.

ya i do perceive it is an old person brand b/c most individuals that i c drivin buicks are old ppl. With an introduction of a new vehicle that can grab young ppls attention, than young ppl might start to think buick as a brand for all ages.
so now they need some clever marketing schemes that basically says ya buick is still for those older individuals who want quality and luxury and watever else old ppl like, but we also have the sleek/sporty and edgy cars that young ppl today like.

its all about marketing, if u do it rite, ur successful. Cadillac didnt become successful without cleverly marketing, in addition the whole dam hiphop/ rap scene along wit supped up escalades appealed to kids and adults, but to kids more, and that probably singlehandidly gave the escalade so much hype.
