Hey people I need your help again. The other day I got locked out of my 97 expersso (made in mexico) anyway I was able to open the drivers side door with a slim jim. My problem is now nether side will not open with the key, The key goes thru like it once to open, but the door locks don't pop out, the car doesn't power locks, if I open the panel is ther something I can look for ( Like a button) or something to fix this problem.

PS. I tried slimming pass & driver before I got the driver to pop..

you might have pulled the lock release out of the holder when you pull the panel u should see a wire biger than a medal coat hanger that needs hooked back up

ive locked my self out of my 99 neon expresso.
but the good thing about the neons is that they have sport windows(dont go into metal just the rubber at top)(atleast mine does) and if you pull the handle on the inside it unlocks the door. everytime i just get a clothes hanger ..pull the window out(towards me) at the top corner ..put the hanger in pull the handle..bingo. takes less than a minute.

take it to a shop.....
