okay, got the short 44 all ready to go in but I need to find out what (if any) kind of changes I need to do to my brake system. my concern is that the stock fronty master cylinder wont have enough capacity to operate the big chevy style calipers. anyone ran into this or have any ideas?

You can swap a Chevy master cylinder, it's almost an exact swap.
