S-10 Blazer lost power after gas fill-up.
Hi Folks, Can anyone help. My S-10 Blazer was running fine. I filled up the gas to the full capacity, started the car and now it does not pick up speed. The check engine light comes on and off. It goes to 30 mile per hour or so but then starts to loose power and eventually comes down to 1 or 2 miles. I have burnt the gas off completely. Tried the injector cleaners and have had the car running in idol for hours. Different machanics tell me different things. I am told the spider injector needs to be replaced but that peice as I under stand it does not go out all of a sudden like that and it is only two years old. Does anyone know more about this problem. I have an appointment scheduled to have a computer dignostic run on the car by a Chevy dealer. Please HELP!!!!!!!

First off, get the codes checked.

You have to get the code to figure out what the problem is.

Have you ever had the CPI spider changed yet? And yes, it can goo all of the sudden.

Get the codes read at Autozone for free. Come back here and tell us the EXACT code number. Don't let the autozone morons just tell you what is wrong, GET THE CODE NUMBER.
