Alright, Myself and a friend are trying to stick interior neons into my cheap 98 cavalier. So far I have two Redline Ultra Bright 9" Neons and they are a little different than what I've seen. Come with a Neon tube, and an interface box that is sound sensitive and turns them on and off. I read in a Mazda AND Saturn page that I should be able to take one wire from the neon and plug it straight into a fuse, and use the other wire as a ground. Those didn't involve the little boxes that came with mine though. So I have tried plugging the wires into several fuses and can't seem to get any power from the fuses. Also, I can't light up the light, without power first going into the box. This is so frustrating and I really don't want to have four huge cigarette adapters poking uot from my dash...thanks for any help you can provide!

just direct wire them. The wire with the white dash or the one that goes to the side prongs is the ground, bolt it down to some metal on the car and then take the positive one and put it on a switch and then run a power wire from that.

neon's will probably never mess up. if they do they are so simply put together that they will just blow the bulb

Lucky you! I had them in my old car without a fuse, and it burned the power wire and luckily didn't set my car on fire. It did melt the rubber molding near near the door though.

It did melt the rubber molding near near the door though.i use a thicker gauge wire than what it comes with. i think i use like 16g i believe. just run it straight to the battery then to a toggle switch. never had a problem yet. knock on wood :lol:
