Those are much better looking than a body kit. I just personally think they are a bit to goddy. But lip kits, like say the type R lip kit, look really clean and nice. You could just get a front lip, or you could get the front, and the type R sides, and rear. Either way they will look better than a body kit. 93AcIntegra 07-10-2004, 04:54 AM well i like body kits but what do you mean by ricey.....i just wanna be diff from the rest i mean i like lips and all but i see them everywere sweetnsourpeach9 10-06-2004, 08:29 AM I'm new here...I have a 95' Honda Civic and need to have it put on and painted...does anyone have any idea how much that would cost? srytakn 10-07-2004, 10:18 AM well, i install bodykits and do paintjobs on just the kits to match the body, i usually charge $300.00 if it is a pre-drilled bodykit and if there isn't to much extra labor involved. that price also includes the paint job, however, i leave it up to the customer to get the paint, so paint is a seperate price too. if there is a lot of extra labor (cutting safety bumper, drilling holes, molding, filling in cracks, etc.) then i charge up from there, the highest one i have done yet was a 95 DelSol, molded to the car bodykit, bottom scratch plates, primer and paint ran her about $1200. that is cheap compared to taking it to a real body shop. your best bet would be to call around. if you can tell me where you live, i might be able to help out a little bit? niemanator68@hotmail.com Chris srytakn 10-07-2004, 10:22 AM Bodykits kick ass, especially if you see a lowered suspension in the near future. depending on where you live is what should determine what kind you get. if you live in an all seasonal area where you do get decent snow, get the Intimidator front clip. it has a higher center piece but lower outer parts so it clears that built up snow in the streets that the plows can never get. if you are in an all year round warm area, get the Black Widow. its center has kind or a lift towards the radiator therefore pushing more air towards the radiator to keep it cooler. yeah, i know that not many people think of that stupid stuff, but i do, i always look into things especially when it comes to my car and its performance! any more questions, email me at.... niemanator68@hotmail.com LSfrankenstein 10-07-2004, 11:33 PM go jack the kit of a type R shaunthebadass 10-08-2004, 08:26 PM i say you go with a lip kit also, or just get a cwest kit like mine vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
