Does anyone know if the '92 E32 had tilt steering as either a standard or optional feature? What year was tilt introduced (as opposed to only Telescoping)?

Steering on most all BMW's up to that time was telescope only, as you probably are aware. I am not sure about the adjustments on a '92 E32, but doubt anything changed.

I do know that 1992 was the first year for POWER steering wheel adjustment on the 7-Series.

The steering wheel on my 1990 535i doesn't adjust at all--neither tilt nor telescope.

Thanks for the info. Good to know about the power adjustment. I know they introduced tilt on the E38s but I just can't seem to find any reference that gives information on available options for that year's E32.
