Replacing factory stereo04Cavy 07-06-2004, 10:16 AM I just ordered a new Kenwood stereo and I was just wondering if its hard removing the dash to install a new stereo. I saw the website at http://members.shaw.ca/johnz24/howto/2kaudio.html on how to do it but I would like some insight from people who have done it and what problems they have run into so I'll be prepared and hopefully have no problems. 04Cavy 07-06-2004, 10:19 AM I was also wondering if theres a printable version with pics of the how to remove dash link on that site. 5150cavy 07-06-2004, 11:52 AM it's not that hard to remove the dash there is about 8 screws and the top part of the dash comes out, then 3 more and the trim around the stereo comes off if u want i can email u some pic of where the screws are located. 04Cavy 07-06-2004, 12:06 PM Yea that would be appreciated if you could. JG24fan@optonline.net is my e-mail 04Cavy 07-06-2004, 10:30 PM Well I found a nice link on how to remove the dash with some good pics at http://www.umes.mb.ca/~jy/lundis/ I really think I should be ok installing it now. 5150cavy 07-07-2004, 07:56 PM those pics r dead on that's all there is to taking it apart. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
