I have a 92 bonneville with 184,000 miles....on sharp right turns it sputters like its running out of gas, also when tank was full it would read empty until i had gone about 30 miles....had this problem checked at a dealership and they replaced my fuel sending unit and said it should be fine...well now the gas gauge works but the car still sputters on right hand turns if im under 1/4 tank of gas. does anyone know the solution to this problem? the dealership now acts as its all in my head but they wont take it out to drive it and see for themselves either. PLEASE HELP?

There was a TSB released for this problem but I can't find it. I think that this is the one though:

92655 JUL 92 Fuel - Momentary Loss of Power Hesitation On Turns

It seems to only affect the 92 model years and is blamed on an improperly installed or design of the strainer in the fuel tank. You should call Pontiac or a local dealer to get a copy of the TSB and the steps to correct as this could be a safety concern. Basicly it involves replacing the strainer but I'm unsure if this is the only thing that corrects the problem.
