Floored on GreenHurley 01-28-2002, 12:23 AM It's me again. So who thinks it would be bad ass to see a clash of old muscle cars and the new import muscle to meet more head to head in the fast and furious 2. Now again let me state that I love both type's of muscle cars old and new. I own a 70 Camaro rs with a built 350 pumping out 455 horses. I would like to build an import drag car someday but after all who has the money? But yeah, wouldn't that rock to see old against new. Because after all in the fast and the furious they made it seem like all street racers just had import cars. And the Charger that Terreto had, thier are pletty more of those type of guys with old muscle cars like that, who would without a doubt want to drag race. And everyone be honest with me when you saw Terreto pulling out his charger you know you wanted him to race the Supra right? ANyway give me some replies.:flipa: SickLude 01-28-2002, 12:29 AM yea, you may be right, there should be more muscle....but i think the original intention of the director has been taken out of context. see, the movie's focus was particularly directed toward the "import scene"...sure, theres a couple of stangs and what not. but at the same time, its mainly Hondas, Toyotas, Mazads, and Nissans. now, im not saying that muscle is bad, im just saying its original intention was to display the fundamentals of the Import Scene. the movie did base itself on one newspaper article, remember? theres no telling what they'll do next, but i wouldnt be surprised if it had a bunch more civics, teg's, ludes....(please put some ludes in the movie!!!), supras, RX7's, etc., etc. my 2 sense... hiphopscout 01-28-2002, 12:41 AM i liked the movie, but id like to see more bike stuff lol i guess im just a die hard wheelie rider myself....why dont u see more preludes? they are probably one of the nicest cars in the entire class Hurley 01-28-2002, 12:51 AM So I guess what you guys are telling me so far is that you think that Old muscle cars should probably not be included in the fast and furious 2 and we should just stick to the more modern import cars? And go ahead and leave the old cars like mine in the garage. I suppose The charger does fit in the movie since it was dom's dad and his car that they built and it was the only thing he had left to drive. So i suppose it had to show up. So, I have a question to all of you guys out there. What do you think makes a muscle car? What car do you think makes the best muscle car? These question apply to both old and new cars? So give me some responses. fastrThanU 01-28-2002, 01:40 AM musclecar=plaster-your-ass-to-the-back-glass acceleration in a straight line. usually a domestic as well, but some imports could be called musclecars i suppose. it all depends on your personal definition. I may be going out on a limb here, but think that any high end Japanese Sports cars can be called a muscle car. Polygon 01-28-2002, 02:02 PM If they have a lot of torque and a good amount of HP then to me they are muscle cars, domestic or import. Cool, idea. I would love to see something like that. SickLude 01-28-2002, 04:36 PM muscle car: a car that has over 300 horses...i think in the broad sense of a definition, this is what we mean...right? i think Polygon's idea goes along with this, so im gonna agree with him. lots of torque and a good amount of horses (about 270 and higher) should be considered "muscle".. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
