I just asked this question a few days ago. From the advice I got, the remote is an AB091CH with another number being 25550780.81.82
I looked on ebay and asked one of the people who operates an ebay store selling remotes for that specific one, and they could only offer a similar, but not exact one. I have been thinking about going to a dealer to find out what kind it is... but definitely not to buy. I called them once and they wanted $100.

For programming, supposedly its simple. All you have to do is short out pin a to pin g on the ALDL (iirc), wait for the door to lock and unlock, then press the button on the new remote and if it recognizes it, it will lock (or something similar). Maybe I'll call the dealer this afternoon.

The ALDL (Assembly Line Data Link) is located under the dashboard above the gas pedal in the 1991 PA. It is a black connector that faces down. I dont have the pinout handy, but if you get a haynes book, it will have the pinout.
