This is the first American vehicle that I have ever bought. Today I bought a leftover 2003 Silverado Z71 LS Ext. cab 4 X 4. It has 323 miles on it and the low beam headlights do not work. I know that whatever it is it is under warranty but I have to travel out of town before my dealer opens. Is it a common fuse or relay problem, because the highs, fog, and parking lights work fine? Thought for such a large ammount of cash I would get a little better quality control. No wonder the Asians are gearing up to rule the full size truck market.

Update- No daytime running lights either. fuses look good. Not sure on how to test low beam relay.

Updated again - Both low beam bulbs blown from factory. Fixed under warranty by my dealer. The running lights were working, I just didn't know the truck had to be in gear.
