I am trying to figure out what degree of armouring my car has. I know there are different levels. I have the 13mm double pane glass, airtight doors, and the aramid in the doors. I hope someone knows other things I havent seen on my car and/or the level. 1, 2, 6, 7. I think thats all bmw puts in their cars.

Your VIN is probably the best key to an answer. Take it to your BMW store and see what they can do with it. I had no idea BMW offered a "Protection" package before 1998 or so.

How did you get ahold of the car? I'll bet it has a more interesting history than the average Bimmer! Perhaps you can run a CARFAX?
