I've only heard good things about it, not anything excellent, but not anything bad like them stealing their shit back.

Hey DO NOT GET A SWAP FROM THEM!!!!! My buddy got his done there and he just blew a piston. When they took the engine apart they found chuncks of metal in the piston like screw heads and what not. Also there was a bolt in his oil pan and it wasn't any normal bolt it looked like something that would of fallen off a wood porch. About the stolen stuff there I've heard rumors of things happening. But i don't know if they are true. As for the swap I would go to Plus One motorsports or Alta Sports. If you have any questions im me and i'll get back to you.

There is a new import shop in Vancouver, WA called HyperREV Performance. I was at the Dick Hannah AutoMall the other day and they were selling some of HyperREV's products in their showroom. I checked them out and the sales people were really nice and they seem to know a lot about import cars. They actually pay attention to what you have to say, not about how much money you have. They are located about a mile from Dick Hannah at 2802-C NE 65th Ave. Their phone is (360) 695-3390. Its nice to see more import shops opening up its just more competition and better pricing for us!:flash:

has anyone heard anything about Drag Tec?
its affliated with Speed Concept. SC doesnt do motor swaps and high perf. engine building, but this place does. i went to SC and one of the employees told me this. both are in Aloha.
:licker: < this doesnt mean anything, i just thought it was hillarious.

Ground Zero is where I would go if I didn't do my swap myself. I went into Fastrak and they had a bad attitude when I was just asking some questions about parts. GZ is really cool, and extremely helpful

the guys at ground zero are really cool but they're not exactly synonomous with high quality. granted, i do most of my shopping there but when it comes to something like a swap i would look into drag-tec. im not saying drag-tec is all that great, cuz i dont know for sure, ive just heard. but i would at least check it out. my friend got a b16 in his integra via gz and they screwed him on the price...but as far as i know they did a pretty good job.
basically you can ignore all i said, as long as you do your research.

I too have heard pos/neg about FasTrak, but, in my opinion, id deal with Ground Zero also. Ive done my last couple of projects with them and they really do kick ass, not to mention they were really helpful and somewhat curteous. and boy have i delt with some assholes or complete dumbasses. Also Alta out in beaverton is pretty good... though i havent been there YET.

yea man, they found metal in the piston itself, never heard of that...yea dude you can also "blow" a piston huh? good job bro, you dont know jack. DRAG-TEC is the best place to go for engine swaps, without a doubt. peace

Hey, Speed Concepts is decent. They do a good job, but they slack so you've got to call and check up on your gear. Anyway, if you decide to go there let me know, I'll hook you up. Thanks :)

Holy shiz man, just have a friend do a swap for ya for a couple Benji's. I do swaps all the time for friends for cheap. Ground Zero charges an arm n' a leg for there Labor along with every other motorsports shop around here. I wish I had a shop, so I could charge half the price on labor and bring in tons of customers.

WELL, "NICK." It's a pleasure reading your post. I ordered my ITR tranny from them and never received it. I even drove up to Aloha yesterday and went to their shop, being NAPA and found out that they had shut down due to NATE fawking so many people over. SO if you have ANY information on where I can get ahold of NATE or any other member of their crappy team, please notify me. Thanks.

JDM pissed off.

that sucks. When you do get a hold of them, grab them by the balls and throw them around some.

Holy SHIT! This is one hell of a KA-Wink-a-Dink. My name is Nick also, and My friends and I have done some bussiness with Nate at Drag-Tec. I had planned on buying all those Shells outside his Shop, but his bussiness went belly-up and never saw him again.
But, you never paid for that ITR tranny correct? If not, GOOD, because Nate is kinda Doucebag now and you wont see that Tranny. I know someone who could sell you one.
"Hey other Nick! Do you know Justin Pai?"

:banghead: I did pay for it. :banghead: again. Argh! Anyway, who is this someone that could get me that hydro tranny? This really sucks for Nate because I have a ton of people up there looking for him now. I also have a receipt and his signature along with his DriverLicense number in Oregon [i'm anal like that and get everyones info on stuff $500+] So, I'll give a couple of weeks and if not I'll turn it into my attorney uncle. It's not really even the money issue right now, it's the principle of the matter. :nono: Arsehole!

uhm...well I feel really bad and wish there was some way I could help you out, even go as far as beat the living hell out of them myself. Any better? Anyhow, that's why I suggested grab them by the balls, I know if someone had a my nuts in a death lock I sure as hell wouldn't be fighting back.

Hope everything gets worked out.

For $1000 I can get you a '99 Bushmaster Varminter XM15E2S, and I'll throw in the scope, bipod, 3x 40rnd magazines and about 50rnds of .223 ammo. That'll get you your money back once you find this guy.
