PT Cruisers.

But no really, with that price, motorcycles are the best. Plus you can indulge yourself. Ask any college girl what kinda guys they dig... what kinda rides they pick... :ylsuper:

I hate to agree with this. No car under $10k is going to impress anyone. Pick up a good street bike, that'll get you some attention.

Nice looking 5.0 for about 6/7 grand. Get some hedders, cam, intake. Make it sound like a beast and you'll draw some well wanted attention.

hehe, i was kidding though... you have to know acknowledge the risks. if you're serious about it, do head over to the motorcycle section for some tips. otherwise, your daily mustangs won't impress too many girls. unless you're wanting to get the shelby GT, which most possibly will be out of your budget.

I'm with Josh. A nice Mustang 5.0 is a cool car. A hatchback with tint and nice rims gets attention. It's fast, and looks nice, and the girls like them. But I'm biased

LOL. Thats some funny biased sh!t.

5.0's are indeed 'butt-ugly'. Any car that is rituallisticly confused with an 85 escort is in the Butt section of ugly. That being said, if i found the right one, id buy it in a heartbeat. They have a charm to them. They are 'cool' despite they're looks.
Number one rule; Chicks like cars that they bond to, every girl is defferent. My freind likes old 4 runners and beat up pickups covered in mud over any 'try-to-hard' sportscar. Other than that, they like cars they dont see often, unique cars, and as a general rule, they love convertables. More often than not, my experience tells me they like big cars as well. Oh and you gotta wash that shit. A mustang is just far too comonplace to draw any real attention. Yeah it'll bring a crowd faster than a civic, but its not like its a Viper or Ferrari. And if the guy in the civic is hot, your fuxed, your 5.0 wont sway her. But hot civic boy wont stand a chance against a real chick magnet. Any dork can pull up in a ferrari and leave with an extra 125 pounds.
There is a step in between tho, Classics. Grab like an old Triumph TR-6 roadster, 70's 911 or a 68 Charger and you'll apeal to thier taste. All it takes is some style and individuality.

I don't know how true this is. A friend of mine has a '69 Charger and it is CHERRY! But, the ladies really don't seem to know it's a cool car. To them, it seems it's just another muscle car. Unless you find a lady who knows her cars. As much as I love the Charger, I'd probably rather borrow my brother-in-law's '69 Jag E-Type convertible. I don't think it's as nice, but the ladies might respond better to a classic Jaguar with the top down (?)

I think you guys are seeing it from the wrong perspective. If you really want to impress chicks, you don't need to get a nice car, you need to get multiple cars!!! :grinyes: Just get a decent car and a motorbike, chicks are apparently impressed by that shit! I have a Pink '97 VW GTI, and a Kawasaki Zx-12 (but mainly for track riding), and a few other Motorbikes in my garage. Anyways all of the chicks I know have always had something nice to say about each one of my rides :iceslolan

Karen512
08-02-2004, 01:40 AM
Yes, your "ride" does matter........
however, if you are looking for a girl to have a relationship with, your "ride" shouldn't be that much of a factor.....she should like you for you. :grinyes:

But if you are just looking for some ass, my advice would be to get a decent car, and make it somehow unique, something that will make them remember your car. Be it nice aftermarket rims, or a nice paint job.....something along these lines. Nothing "ricer" or gay, just something tastefull.

Or just get the bike!! Us girls love a man on a sport bike  :smooch:

Well even though I'm not much for it because too many people have them around here if you're looking for a girl magnet the Mitsubishi Eclipse (If you can find one in your price range, I'm not sure what they're selling for used) seems to work. Add a ricer exhaust and a unique graphic. I've seen that work. Seen the same thing with a 2000 Civic Hatchback and that guy was Fugly. His car just stood out.

Why the hell would you need a car to get girls? Honestly. Sure you can pickup some $2 hoe that will try and use you for crack smoking needs. But getting girls is ALL about personality. (And whoever said to "be nice" your an idoit, dont ever give dating advice again). But if i was a needy, attention, hungary-wussbag and had to have girls look at my car i would have a 2002 SS Camaro, t-tops, leather, and a 6-speed. Red with black racing strips, a SLP Loudmouth exhaust, and 18'' Chrome ZR1 Wheels.

Very true... but a COOL car doesnt create attraction with a women. Have a Ferrari? That does, wanna know why? The women senses you have a bunch of money, and a tiny bit of attraction sparks. Yeah i beat a WRX, these cars a VERY slow top-end. No power up there b/c of the awd and gearing.

this is a dead old topic.

anyway, cars don't exactly have the same affect on women as sportbikes.

kenwood guy

anything that is cool to MOST people ie. bikes and fast cars will have some effect on how a women thinks of you there is no question about it in my book

Z_Fanatic
08-13-2004, 01:27 AM
here's my deduction, unless you have a sports car (and I don't mean camaros or mustangs), a sophisticated girl wouldn't care what you drive, as long as it's not a yugo. those f-bodies are ever so common. and girls with little knowledge about cars might be impressed with them. real attraction lies with sports car and definitely exotics.

where as motorcycles, the territorial advantage is already set since the dawn of "rebel without a cause." and especially with sportbike these days, the fact stands out more than ever, riders live life on the danger lane, and there's a risk of injury/death everytime one gets on the bike. and I think that bigger balls and speed attract women. plus there's a adrenaline rush even as a passenger, and there are only a few female riders, etc. girls fear it, and they love it.

kenwood guy
08-14-2004, 02:03 AM
"sophisticated girls" thoses are the ones I hate they think they know every thing when in fact they are just like everyone else..... A bike is cool but I think a decent sports car ie mustang, camero 240sx and so on are good also

Z_Fanatic
08-14-2004, 03:33 AM
f-bodies and sport compacts are sports cars??

well it's either sluts or sophisticated girls, and after a certain stage, mature people tend to prefer the latter.

kenwood guy
08-14-2004, 10:42 PM
well...I just dont make "Blanket" statements people like what they like and I feel that a cool car is a cool car I think A fixed up import, bike or f body are all in the same game and the name of the game is to impresses thoses who care about being different from the rest of field Ill take a hooked up ride over some normal one anyone one why???.... well any guy can answer that one

5 Point 7
08-15-2004, 12:42 AM
Why do you keep talking shit about f-bodies. 02' WS6 and 02' SS are the EASIEST! within price to get girls. BELIEVE ME. And I'm sure you prolly get girls in your Z, if you have one (didnt care to look in your profile.) And somehow you turned focus from them being attention-getters (which they very much so are) into them NOT being sports cars??? NO there no Lotus/Lambo/any other exotic. But for real people cars. Nothing can beat it...NOTHING. And don't say a Supra because 30-40 g's for a car 7+ years old...NOT REASONABLE. (Not discrediting Supras, just obviating remarkable resale value compared to a reasonable chick-getter car.) :banghead:

Z_Fanatic
08-15-2004, 02:23 AM
I never said I had anything against f-bodies. but I did mention they're not sports car because:

You don't see them in the track/twisities competiting. straightline? yes. gt competition? not too many without huge suspension mods.

Why are supra so expensive? because they're sports cars and very demanding.

I'll exclude 5.7 V8 Trans AM, because they were whoppingly expensive when new and has real power to deliver, especially with RAM Air. And you don't see too many of these around.

And they're very common, when something becomes abundant, it loses the charm of exclusivity. Every other 16 year old owns one. And yup, I'll agree, their girlfriends get impressed because they have a ride now.

5 Point 7
08-15-2004, 11:22 AM

False, they DO compete in competitions. the SS and WS6 also are suspension upgrades stock. Anything under 3500 lbs can handle reasonable well with upgrades. I'd consider a vr-4 a sports car, and they are about 3800!

Why are supra so expensive? because they're sports cars and very demanding.

Because they were in a movie! Very demanding never the less. F-Bodies not sports cars because it has muscle :screwy: You must think a Viper is not a sports car but a muscle car like others I've heard.

I'll exclude 5.7 V8 Trans AM, because they were whoppingly expensive when new and has real power to deliver
Name one 4th gen 93-02 Z-28, Formula, Trans Am, or SS that DOESN'T have a 5.7 L V8? And DOESN'T have "real" power to deliver? How can you exclude one and not all, when they are all the same thing?

especially with RAM Air.
:uhoh: You could put your own aftermarket one on....not much a difference anyway unless you have some extensive mods that need the extra air.

Every other 16 year old owns one.

Yes, pity it was in FF and 2 fast 2 queer. But still it has high resale value, can't argue with the facts. Viper IS a sports car. And I think you might be delusional if you consider Viper and f-bodies muscle cars.

I pray you can. BTW, NOTHING was mentioned about YOU NOT being able to distinguish them...

As for cars getting chicks theres enough women (materialistic, burn your money, take half your shit in a divorce settlement women) who would hop in a ferrari if a guy notioned her to. But to be honest, I would hop in a damn ferrari if a guy asked me to (thought I am not gay); I mean come on its a ferrari!

Vettribution87

It seems to me that flash car helps to grab a girls attention long enough to spark their curiosity of who is driving it and so they might glance at the driver. If you happen to be fairly average looking or less, then the advantage of a flash car becomes totally irrelevant.

I think the motor cycle's advantage is based on the fact that a girl can identify the gender of the rider as male and yet be unable to ascertain there facial features because of the helmet and visor. As long as the rider is not a fat bastard then they will have the attraction of appearing like a mysterious and attractive man who lives a loner lifestyle (like in the movies).
This of course wouldn’t apply to trail bikes

Back to cars though I am surprised that a vehicle such as a Skyline GTR would be a chick magnet. I mean if a chick new nothing about a Skyline's capabilities then they might be fooled into thinking its a 2-door version of a humble sports sedan.
Don’t get me wrong it looks smart, but I always thought that the aggressive curves of a European (or European styled) sports car would be more appealing to the opposite sex.

Another thing, what about brand name? I’ve heard of a situation where a woman approached this guy who had a 200sx with a body kit and said " Wow! Is this a Ferrari?".
It must have been really hard to admit that it was just a Nissan.

:uhoh: Not that theirs anything wrong with Nissan :uhoh:

you're the one who sees testical in a car. ;)

btw, there is a difference between intentionally typing in lower case and mispelling a word which one is already unaware of how it should be properly spelled. i.e. it would have been an honest mistake if you typed "testicel" or "testilce." you can see the letters are the same, but the arrangement is off; where as "testical" is completely nonsense. of course this isn't a language lesson, and my own english/grammar is far from perfect, but just pointing it out for future reference. :D

here we go again...

depends which 'Vette you're comparing...

a C4 VS Z32 300ZX, it will depend on what the girl finds sexier.

a 350Z VS C5, the Vette no doubt.

As for Porsches, I'd say it depends on how good the the guy looks, because most non-boxster, 911/Turbo and up I've seen are driven by middle-age guys.

I've been reading this and I'm just going to speak my mind about this subject.
1st I drive my dad's black 90 5.0 on weekends and I get plenty of looks and hits from girls, more than street bike riders, believe me or not.
2nd I'm not driving around on friday nights to pick up girls. I'm driving around to find somebody to race.
3rd If you want a chick magnet then the one car I saw that got a ton of looks was a late 60s, red with black racing stripes, GTO with a shiny chrome supercharger sticking up through the hood. The guys driving it had more girls than all the street bikes, civics, mustangs, camaros, ect put together.
This is just my 2cents.

yea man I feel you theres nothing like an chrome engine with a supercharger sticking up the hood thats the dream for me I plan on buying and fixing up a 70 camaro I want it just to look like the one on my sig but black....Someday....but not today:(

I must also add this about that very special GTO. The thing rumbled so loud at idle it set off car alarms parked along the street, and when it took off windows of stores shattered. This thing was one of the meanest, loudest, nicest sounding cars I've heard in my life.

i'm going to go w/ the 2g Eclipse (97-99) GS-T or GS-X, only those trims because, you can impress a girl w/ the lower models, but the GS-T and GS-X seem to stand better on the roads, also there is aconv. model, ...

Supras aren't common...i think 2 people in my town of 130k have some....maybe 3

and my eclipse turns the college girls's heads pretty easily, ....:D

in my opinion thats becoming more rare everyday so much that a cool car for a guy is a must

Well for under $10K you gotta get a 300ZX or 3000GT, you might find a RX-7...you want a "Chick Car" you gotta have a car that looks like sex on wheels, something you don't see everyday, and that grandma's and grandpa's don't drive. What attracts the chicks that would go for the guy with the nice car is, if they don't know what the car is, like how it looks, and if they see that everyone else is amazed with your car. PT Cruiser however would not be one of those cars.

Oh and BTW that's just for a chick CAR. To actually get the chick you have to not look like a scrawy/fat ugly pos who thinks his car will get him laid lol.

Little off topic, lets not turn this into an "I can't please a girl without money enough for her to stay with me" thread. lol.

LEGO MY E
09-18-2004, 12:16 AM
Well, I wouldn't say it QUITE like that! ;) It doesn't take money to please all girls. However, if your money or YOUR CAR are what your girl was first attracted to then your relationship is likely a lost cause over the long run.

No, for this type of girl it won't matter how good looking OR how rich you are. There will always be somebody better looking or with a faster car that she'll run to if that's the case.

Fortunately (I've heard) they aren't ALL like this!

Now, what was the topic again? I forget. :)

One of my best friends had a Jeep Wrangler with some 33s and a minor lift and he got more attention from females than almost any other car at my highschool besides MAYBE the Z06 with in dash TV and full JL system. Overall, your ride can't do it all (not that you didn't know that). I have a Volvo 740 that is tastefully modified. In my experience when a woman sees that you have a passion with your car she notices that you live your life with passion and drive. If you roll up with a fully washed detailed car every time you see her she can only imagine the attention that she is gunna get. ONE MAJOR THING: If you are not for real she will know, if you talk up your car on purpose she will know, and more than likely if you drive like an asshole to impress her she will not dig it. I say $10,000 is plenty to have a great car. I live in Georgia and I'de say Jeeps and modded trucks do the most damage (Besides your cars that are well above the 10K mark).

I think the car has to fit you for it to work. I mean if you roll out of a 70's muscle car in your metrosexual best it will just look stupid. With that said for under 10k a 74 or early El Camino is the way to go. A girl see's you in that she knows you don't give a f. But I like ugly cars.

Also you have to know what you are going after. A country chick doesn't care that you have a turbo import she wants a big truck. (broad brush i know but I've never seen a chick in wranglers roll out of a civic with a guy)

I didn't buy my Z to pick up girls. (I never have for that matter.) They were what i could afford at the time and I was happy with it. If you roll out of your car and your confident that will mean more than having a nice car.

Which sounds like a better line wanna take a ride in my car or a ride on my bike.

But if it has to be a car then get an old muscle car (non camaro or mustang-just too many of them) and a good job to pay for the gas.

kenwood guy
10-13-2004, 10:38 PM

This is very true, couldn't agree with you more.
Some girls like mustangs and camaros.
Some girls like corvettes.
Some girls like street bikes.
Some girls like big 4x4 trucks.
Some girls like riced out imports.

I think something that is different but is real nice is probably your best bet though. Like I said, that 68 GTO with the chrome supercharger sticking out of the hood with a sound that would wake the dead picked up more girls than any of the above listed.

The best thing to do, buy a used car, then spend the money and customize it as much as possible on your budget. Chicks like somethin different. I know around here a good chevy 1500 with duals, lowered and some other obvious mods would make a chick look. But then again i'm in illinois

kenwood guy
10-18-2004, 02:52 PM
the whole I idea is to get something different or make it different with mods could that be reason why people mod in the first place??? to attract attention??? I think it is

I agree with this also BUT looks (I think) doesn't do it all. I think if you have something under the hood to back it up that's a biggy too.

You pull up beside some guy and smile at his girl in your nice, different, cool car, she smiles back and makes her boyfriend mad. Then you also have the stuff under the hood to beat his butt 9 ways to Sunday. After that his girl just smiles at you more and maybe meets you somewhere when he's not around.

I mean you may have a very nice looking corvette (whatever) that has all the bells and whistles that turns heads. It won't mean jack when you get your butt kicked by a 15 year old in his mom's honda.

Just my :2cents:
