I have a 1991 3.8 L ford taurus, When I try to start it it stalls after about 1 second dose anyone have any ideas what it could be. i've went though and replaced all the plugs, wires, distributor and rotor. and am lost to what is causing this please help me.

Could be a plugged fuel filter, it will let just enough thru to fire up the engine but cant keep up with demand of a running engine. A test under the hood with a fuel pressure guage should pin point any fuel related problem that you might have.

ive tested fuel presure and it reads a steady 40 PSI
