as far as reliability and overall driving fun are concerned, assume here that the cars are manual and would be kept stock for a good while

Hmm...tough choice...but I'd have to opt for stock wise the VR6...gotta have torque!

We all know that the b18c1 is a great engine but so is the vr6.

So as I said in another tread: Do you have any verifiable information confirm the fact that the b18c1 is more reliable than the vr6?

I think the styling of the GSR looks better and honda is known for its reliability. I don't know enough about the vr-6 to say much, but my friend has a 96 gsr and it broke into 14s with just basic bolt ons and has never had any problems. also it has great gas milage.

Both are really close in performance, high 6s 0-60 mph, low 15s.
If you were to modify it, the 2.8 liter would be easier to extract more power off. I like the teg styling better though.
