Does anyone know anything about this new M-Spec GT-R? I cannot read Japanese so I am having a hard time figuring it out, but it looks like a "luxury" version of the GT-R (with leather seats, etc) it is also more expensive than the V-Spec II.

I'm in the same situation. I found it on the Jap nissan page. Usually I can transalte webpages w/this certain program, but since the info on the M-spec is in the format of a flash movie, I can't translate it! Dammit! If the only difference is the leather though, I'd stick w/the v-spec II, the skyline is a sports car. If you want leather, buy a Benz.

Sorry my Kanji is a bit rusty if not just plain crappy:mad:

As far as I can see custom made leather seats. The seats were made specifically for the M-spec. That's the 2nd flash you pick.

The first one appears to talk about changes in the stearing, not sure but appears more mechanical than cosmetic.

The last one talks about the suspension (just guessing here), but it may be refering to "adjustable" more for a Touring. The picture there say's "TA~PI~GU KO~TORO-RU LI~PU"
Not sure about the first word cause I can get a clear look at the letter, but guessing again "Tapping Control Lip".

Sorry, with my weakness in Kanji and crappy resolution I'll have to get one of my girlfreinds to give me a correct translation. :smoka:

Over all tho, it appears to be a luxury touring version of the Skyline GTR. I don't know, for roughly $1500 US more it seems about right. IMHO

Yeah, that sounds right. Like the Evo series, they have bare-bones racers and then the more civilised (everything is reletive) version that costs more.
Is the skyline as extreme as that, or what is it like exactly (stupid nissan, bring it here!!!!!)

Ok here I am :p
Sorry it took me so long guys, I havent checked the GT-R forum in a while, have been busy.

M-Spec is like an Anniversary edition Maxima, most of the stuff is cosmetic difference.

Special exterior color
All black interior
Special "cushy" steering wheel
Premium leather seats made just for this ver. of GT-R
Has "Ripple control system" so there are no annoying vibrations inside
Production limit of 50 per month

Other thing I can see is that it weighs 20kg more than v-spec II.

So, its a softer version, for rich people with ageing (sp?) backs. I would want the normal one, more feedback for my calibrated butt, more simple thrills.
