hey.. i was wondering how many rpm's yall are up to when you let the clutch go..bring on the comments.. i wanna know whats the best possible rpm's to let go with good traction

I don't launch it all the time from a standstill, but I think it would have to be very low RPMs - 3000 or less. I tend to squeal in first and second gears all the time, but that's probably due to the stock tires. If you have a better set of tires it will probably allow you to get traction at higher RPMs. Also, having a larger tire/wheel combination will definitely produce less squeal since the wheel needs more torque to make it go around. This will probably cause some torque loss though.

I've heard 2500, 3000 and even higher. Like mmontO said, depends on wheels, tires, conditions etc. Experiment.

the perfect launch would be to rev your car to about 5k and completely pop the clutch, while all wheels will continue to...oh wait...we drive fwd's :icon16:

I guess you should rev around 2500 RPM, to maybe 3500 RPM. The problem is that its a FWD, so you should lighten up the back. Get a carbon fiber trunk, and rear.
