The hood came unlatched on my '91 Mustang LX and opened while driving. Of course it's now bent up. What year hoods can be used to replace it?

Thanks.

Hell I think all of em from 79 to 93 are the same, but I guess I'm not completely sure. If I were you I'd think of this as a good time for a new fiberglass hood.

Any hood from a 87-93 Mustang will work just fine. Hows the cowl, and roof line? Did they get tweeked at all? Another good reason why I hate the factory hood latch, and use hood pins!

I know at least 2 people wit Foxes who's wiper cowl area is V-ed in cause of a hood flying up on them. Maybe I should go buy hood pins now......

But anyways..... yea like HiFlow said anything that works on an 87-93.

Thanks for the responses. The cowl is trashed of course as you might expect. The roof line seems to be ok but that wasn't the case the last time this happened about 4 years ago. The windshield didn't get broken this time either. I thought about hood pins the last time but didn't put them on but just might now. 20/20 hindsight. As far as fiberglas, I'm thinking junk yard instead if I can get one that's reasonable.

If I were you I would get hood pins or a better latch.
