90 LeSabre speaker change

i'm gonna be changing all the speakers in my friend's 90 LeSabre next week. looking at the car, i noticed it was a hell of a lot different than my Corolla. first...are the front speakers under the dash like the Best Buy computer says or are they the ones in the doors? next...anybody know how to work around those damn wiring harnesses in the back? my corolla's speakers were connected directly to the wire...the LeSabre has the harnesses before connecting to the speaker

Okay, on the back, you gotta pull the carpet off the front wall of the trunk. follow the wires to the connector. If that helps any.
