It all depends on what your looking for, Copy and paste the below, and rate each on a scale of 1-10 (10 means very important.
Power
Luxury
Comfort
Ride
Exterior Apearance
Large Backseat
Answer those, and then if you want a mid-size, or larger size car.

I'd like a Buick model that didn't have too many problems
and that's fixable
I'm a driveway mechanic and have kept an 87 Century going
but I need something new
Thanks for the reply !

I'm going to reccommend a 1998 or newer Buick Regal GS. 3.8 Liter Supercharged V6 240hp 260 Lb. Ft. of torque. Fastest car in the Buick Lineup. Comfy, yet stiff in corners ride. Sporty appearance. Rather large backseat. Supportive, yet comfortable seats. Only known problems is failure of a belt tensioner pulley at higher mileage, and the Supercharger conks out around 80,000 miles, and is replaced for ~300 dollars.

Oo? I vant vone!
I suggest the 1973 or 74 Buick Apollo. You COULD go with a 1975... but I mean come on.
Pros:
Theres like 9 left
Parts are relativily cheap
You can hang out with the Nova/Chevy guys
Big power potential, Luxury for the time, Comfortable, smooth ride, sleek body
Cons:
Parts are relativily cheap, and you'll buy em... if its a really used model
Its not a 90's car
... sorry I just have to plug my baby whenever possible.
How about you buy said car from Tman, and then pick up one of these as a side project? Eh? We can hang out!

Please, plastic bolt ons. If they have them for Dells, the have them for cars. If you really want luxury, go to circut city and by some NEONZ0RS!.
Grand national is the ownage for the ride/power however.
It just sucks that the turbo six parts are getting so expensive...

accually, turbo parts have dropped price in the past few years, But that is besides the point. Like you said the GN is probabally one of the fastest cars out there that can still ride like a caddy. A Friend of mine has a GN that run 10.40 something and rides just like it was brand new. Luxury is a nice ride, decent looking intieor, a nice complement of options and creature comforts and something that is not going to rattle your boes apart.

My 89 ttype isn't ugly....well it is now that it needs a new front clip, but i like the look of the older h bodies than the newer ones. You're not going to find a better car on the road than a buick IMO. Any of them are good enough to get(except 90's skylarks and century's)

Sorry fellow Buick owners but I must be honest. I have one of the bad ones.
JD Powers said that the 1998 Century was number 3 on the long term reliability list so I bought one. I have had this car for almost 2 years. The car looks and rides great. But here goes.
Judging by my 98 Century. NONE. Run like hell.
1. I am on blower resistor number 7 or 8 (since new, receipts in glove box)
2. A/C Blower motor number 4.
3.The A/C Compressor is now knocking.
4.The EGR valve had the car in the shop for a month and the cure was a lucky guess.
5.The High beam headlights went out. The harness plug under the dash was burnt (undersized?).
6. The fuel injectors keep plugging up-I use the same gas in all my cars. The Cavaliers have no issues.
7. Rear passenger window is dead.
8. The window lockout switch fell apart so the driver must raise and lower the window for you.
9. The tranny modulator went out. $119 at the dealer.
10. Shifts 1-2 are getting rough.
This car has 70,000 miles on it. It has never been in a crash. WHAT IS UP GM???? I bought this car because my two Cavaliers have been so good, I thought I would "step up" to something nicer.
Am I abusing the wiring harness, and the A/C, and the windows, and the tranny, and the headlights????? I can see a nice Toyota/Nissan/Honda in my future.

I once had an early 80 Century V6. It was ugly but ran very well.
