181000 Miles, automatic Coupe.

Wondering how much longer does this car have left, guesstimate?

Also, how long do they usually last, engine n trans?

I also am looking for a 5/6spd Tranmission to swap in.

Any idea where i can find one?

I don't know--but my car is a 1990 LS sedan automatic (I have the other post about it here), which I bought with 150,000 miles.

About 180,000-185,000, the transmission began acting up; it shifts abrubtly from 1st to 2nd, and then the engine will often rev up before the trans shifts to 4th. It's very difficult to make the car go into third gear (when sport mode (S3) is used, the car is no longer forced to stay in third--uses 4th instead). It's also very difficult to get the transmission to downshift anymore. I'll bet there's still quite a bit of life there (at 200K+) before the thing completely goes out and needs to be replaced or rebuilt. You say you want to swap a manual into your car (not sure how much that will cost, but probably a lot) so this is not an issue for you.

The engine continues to run fantastically even past 200K. I can't forsee any problems in the near future--so it appears that Legend engines are good for the (very) long haul. I know your car is a 3.2L and mine's a 2.7L, but even so...

I bought my car from the original owners and have all records, so I know both the engine and transmission are original.

With your car, if it's been well-maintained, I'd say you don't have to worry about the engine, but watch out for that automatic transmission.
