Ok, i looked in the search and found some answers but what i really want to know now is if i buy a turbo kit what things should i replace, my friend has a crx and put a turbo on it but made all the other parts himself, he says its a lot cheeper but i am not that smart with cars, i wouldn't know where to begain. But looking at turbo kits i think it would be a lot easyer to do by my self or with my other friend and his dad. And my friend said something about replacing the computer or something (what is that about). would i need a new transmission too?

Depends on your car for starters, first thing to do is a copmpression check (ask your boy). If all cylinders are hold steady and holding then you should be ok with a low boost setup. You will need some kind of air/fuel piggyback computer. Your gonna need an exhaust of course and gagues. Just ask your boy what he did...your probably better off that way if his car hasn't blown up yet.

you might wanna get them to do a leak-down test as well... more accurate then the compression test and shows if you need to replace anything... just look at yellowITR's setup if you want something fast;)
