I am new to BMW world, can't anyone tell me what it means when the "Parking Lights" announcement appears on the display boad?

it just came on when i turn the driving lights on (some times not immediately) then it would not turn off

is it normal?

this is telling you your L/F or R/F 'parking' lamp bulb has burnt out. simply remove the socket from the lamp [from the engine room] with twist and replace the # 1157 bulb...........................................jb.
