sorry i know little to nothing about rims, but i was just thinking to myself the other day at work and was wondering if there are titanium rims.

People are always lookin for weight reduction and titanium is light so i figured that there should type of titanium wheel. It also crossed my mind that they might be pretty damn expensive.

please don't flame on me if this is a dumb question, but i just wanna know if there is such a thing as titanium wheels.

thanx

There are magnesiun wheels out. I've heard of prices about $1000-2000 per wheel for those.

I've never heard of titanium wheels, but I'm pretty sure they are right around the corner, since titanium exhaust systems just came out.

How about some magnesium/carbon fiber alloy's? I don't think they're available for cars yet, just pure race bikes.
