93 legend Odometer??QuikShifter 06-25-2004, 06:52 PM how hard is it to pull my cluster?? My original was fried and I got another one from the junkyard but with more miles on it, about 188k yet my car has only 83k. Anyway, can I rewind it or do I have to go to the dealer. I was told its a huge expense and hassle of having it documented which Iam not up t right now. Iam not going to sell this car anytime soon, will probably drive it till it dies and even if Iam forced to sell it, I have service records to back it up. I only want to rewind the last digit, I dont mind the extra 5k miles but 105k more is just too much. Any ideas, lemme know thanks! hutchbut2004 06-26-2004, 05:35 PM Just finished pulling my cluster on a 90 Legend. Remove cluster shade and several electrical connections (press in on the connection release to remove). Next remove four screws and the cluster, disconnect electrical connections, as before. The speedo cable has three spring clips around the cable connection; I’m not sure the procedure for removing since mine was bad, so I just pried up on them with a small screw driver until the cable released. Good luck, it easy. smartjay28 07-20-2004, 06:34 AM QuikShifter 07-25-2004, 11:53 AM thanks. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
