I just changed my brake pads on my 98 Durango, when i was done I noticed the pedal goes almost all the way down to brake, I checked the brake fuid and it needed some so I added it up but still the same... any idea what might be that is causing this and how to fix it. Thanks

You have to bleed the brakes. Open both bleeder screws, then push the brake pedal down and hold it while you get someone to close both screws. Release the pedal and you should have brake pressure. Check fluid and add as required.

You might want to check and see that you set the pads on the correct side of the spring leaf. I changed my brake pads and had the identical problem. It seems logical when you install them to do it incorrectly because they slide right on. You need to actually force that spring leaf and it should have a little tension on it.

Hope this helps.
