92 f150 4x4 bad vibration

got a bad vibration when diving . started after i had to lock the brakes up doing about 60. had the same kind of vibration before i got the engine replaced and trans rebuilt new torq converter. road like a dream. mech. said the vibration was caused buy a bad converter. truck had 130k when i had the work done drove proble 15-20k before new problem started had front ball joints done a few months before engine work. it a 92 f-150 4x4 ext. cab long bed. any help appr.

um check your rotors, drums it might have something to do with the brakes. Is it a constant Vibration or at areound certain speeds? I had a 91 Subaru Legacy that would vibrate really bad once you hit 60, changed the rear tires and it went away. It could be any number of things anymore info would help.
