96 heater valve location

Where on the passenger side can I check to make sure that the heater valve is closed completely? I noticed on another thread that this was the cause of some a/c cooling problems.

I have a 94 accord and the heater valve is straight under where the throttle body and your intake hose connect. I had a cooling problem until i found out that the valve wasnt shutting all the way. Manually shut it and now a/c works great.
