I thought that since I have screwed around enough trying to figure all of the cheap ways out for the first time, I'd go ahead and share this one with you guys.
450cc injectors on a stock fuel map...
You'd probably all be right to call me a crazy ass for trying this one, but suprisingly it works, and the numbers show that the theory behind it does too.
What I did was I took the stock fuel map for a b18 and changed it just like I thought I would be changing mine, compressing the fuel map to be smaller so that I could put a turbo on and keep the CEL's off. Thats how I stumbled across this wierd relationship. Heres What I did to my stock car, its a CRV.

Take the map sensor signal wire, witch outputs about 2.85 volts with the engine off (key on), and splice it in two. Stick a 3.7ohm resistor inbetween the two split wires and connect it in series (the exact value doesn't matter as long as its not really big). Take a 5k ohm potentiometer and hook it to the (ecu side) of this resistor and also to a ground. Turn the pot. until you get about the correct voltage on your map sensor (determined by the size of your new injectors, mine were 450cc and it came to be ~1.8volts I think.)

If you haven't already put in the injectors, do it now. DO NOT do this with stock injectors on, it will run really lean.

Now start the engine and Voila... I bet it idles a little rough, I had to adjust the idle screw on my manifold to get it to run better, but either way it wasn't going to die, so if you don't mind, it doesn't really matter. You can also use the pot to adjust the mixture a little bit, as long as you dont stray too far away everything should be alright.

I opted to adjust the mixture a little after looking at my A/F meter when flooring it and just driving around. Then after I was satisfied, I took out the pot and measured the resistance, and put in some solid resistors with the same resistance in its place.
Ive been driving around for a 2 days with my new 450cc injectors that seem to run just fine, not exactly like stock, but very nice, considering I spent about 1$ on the parts to fix them up, and got them for 60$ off ebay.
If anyone wants to see the gobs and gobs of crap I did just for giggles to stumble aross the fact that I might be able to do this, Ive got an Excel spreadsheet...

This can't be the first time this has been done, but if you haven't heard of it before, here it is. The turbo will be going on as soon as that exhaust tubing gets here and I have a free weekend with a friend.

Even though I posted this, I don't think its the best solution to anyones problem, but I know it has to be better than trying to run w/o any fuel management. I just didn't like the idea of having check valves and fuel regulators to "fix" the problem. But I haven't yet put the turbo on so I'll keep you all informed. If it works well, which I suspect it will, Ill be really happy; but if not I'll be spending some money on a vafc...
