Should these rims fit my 240???NSNPWR 06-24-2004, 12:50 AM Howdy. I been searching all over the net for info but can't seem to find the answers to this dilema. I own a 1995 240sx (not SE). My lug pattern is 4x114. I read up on the net and found out my vehicle offset range is from 35-45+ (found on http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com/Nissan___Vehicle_Bolt_Pattern_Reference.cfm ) I bought these rims ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7906638071&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT ) thinking that all would work out well but it didn't. When matched up and placed, the tires were against my TEIN HE coilovers and would not sit flush. Now, after discussion, the idea that huge spacers and/or different tire size would fix the problem. I guess what I am asking is what went wrong? Was I wrong to think that the offset measurement found from the website was correct? Is it the tire size? If anyone has any clue, please let me know. If there is no simple way to fix this, then anyone interested in them please let me know through this post. Thanks all! nomore240sx 06-24-2004, 09:53 AM it is the tein he...they dont' clear certain offsets. Pretty much you have to get spacers R.W.240 06-24-2004, 12:40 PM The +44 offset doesnt help much either. 35-45 is on the high side i bet something 20-35 would have done better... around +30 would be perfect. i dont know if you would want to run 15mm spacer but if you want to fit those you'll probably need at least a 10mm spacer and some Nismo Lugs. youngmanvr4 06-24-2004, 07:42 PM NSNPWR i would like to ask a question on here if you dont mind? I'm looking at getting 95-98 240 SE and i think i mean get TEIN FLEX coil-overs on all corner. So with that in mind...what off-set would be the best. I am useing this for daily driver, some drag and road race. But what off-set(s) would be the best for the front and rear wheels? I'm thinking 18's right now but what by like 18x8 in the front and 18x10 in the rear? Or what should i do...i like a wide tire in the back if that helps? youngmanvr4 06-24-2004, 07:51 PM Sorry about that...i mean "I'm looking at getting a 95-98 240sx SE and i think. And i may get" thats what i meant to say. And i know width and off-sets are two different things but i dont know that much about the two..and i do know that if you get to wide of a tire it will change the off-set you need. So can you help me out? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
