The car is a 91 CRX DX. 87civicfranky 06-24-2004, 08:38 AM try some local performance and rim shop...they can orderem 4 u........ cvcc_wagon 06-24-2004, 07:52 PM lxndr does car upholstery out of NW washington, he may be able to help you lxndr 06-25-2004, 08:58 PM I have '90 CRX SI seats in my '86... I could make a pattern from them and send you a cover ready to slip on. Or check out your local upholstery/trim shops, ask lots of questions about the company and the type of materials they use. Ask if they have ever done any show cars and if they have any pictures. DO NOT go to the cheapest place you find! Through my experience in the upholstery world I have found that you always get what you pay for, always! If you choose to have a local shop do your seats, let me know what fabric/vinyl and materials you are planning on using, and I'll be happy to give you recommendations along with a list of questions to ask and things to watch out for. Hot rod Heistand 07-01-2004, 02:02 PM I wish I had read your reply before I took the seats to the upholstry shop. I have heard good things about this place and they were very reasonable on their pricing, $280 for the pair isn't too bad I don't guess. lxndr 07-02-2004, 04:22 PM Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement, if you've heard good things about this shop then you took your seats to the right place. Usually people don't refer shops unless they do great work, but they have no problem telling everyone they know when they get shafted by a shop. $280 is a great price for new covers on your seats (does that include material?). Hot rod Heistand 07-03-2004, 07:57 PM yeah material was included and they replaced all of the worn out padding. I picked them up yesterday, the covers are a little loose but they still look pretty sweet. Thanks for all of your advice. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
