How to install your own ZR3 Laser Shifter

I think this is something lots of people would want to know! Including me! There has got to be someone here who has done it themselves. If so, please post how! I am purchasing the Escort Passport 8500 X50 with the ZR3 Laser Shifter and want to know how to install the laser shifter myself.
