this morning i tryed to start my car and the car didn'twant to cut on.the car seems like its not getting gas but everytime i turn the key to the on position i can hear the fuel pump come on. what could it be

is it firing, or turning over, or running a while then dying? Check the vaccuum hoses, fuel filter. if its not firing, check your spark plugs. if it dyes after it runs a litle, mauybe out of gas.

Does the fuel pump cut off like its supposed to because you may have a leak in the fuel line or the carb could be messed up.

Check to make sure you're getting voltage to the starter when you turn the key to the start position.

check out the fuel lines..disconect it from the fuel filter inside the engine bay and have someone start it up....if its shoting out gas...then thats one of your problems....if it does....then it has to be a fuse,electrical,vaccumehose....etc.......:headshak e........(damit!! this really sucks ass it its really frustrating..........but with patience......you will get it up and running)
