have a 96 plymouth voyager 3.0liter runs like crap at idle (shakes violently) and after driving for sometime will shut off! pulled codes and found several misfire codes and a air fuel metering problem read up on the way the pcm controlls the the air fuel and it is done by the cam shaft possition sensor which is located in the $400 dollar distributor replaced the distributor the cap rotor wires and plugs. still same problem fuel filter was canged not long ago and the air filter is clean! i have noticed that the idle is worse when the ac is on. car runs fine other than the idle adn intermediate stalls! im lost i can only think that it maybe the iac but dont want to throw parts at it would like to fix the problem properly!!! any help would be greatly appreciated!
