Which car would you rather own: an NSX or a Supra? I know stock for stock the Supra is faster than the NSX, but for an all around perspective (looks/power/handling), which would you rather own stock or after upgrades.

NSX, its mid-engine, and its gorgeous.

Would I rather have a better handling hand built car? YES

A NSX is faster than the Supra stock. And its also a better track car. But the Supra is the easiest modded Japanese car (in my opinion) so you can make 400HP EASY! Plus there are more options you can do to the Supra. I guess if I could only keep them stock I would go with the NSX-R. If I could have one and do anything I wanted to it, I would go with the Supra.

you may be better off putting this in car comparisons as most people in this forum are bias. However, the supra is faster and the nsx probably does handle better but u can get a supra for much cheaper and then put a new suspension and what not. I would definetley go with the supra

why are these questions always asked? if u are talking about the supra and nsx in japan, the top model nsx is faster than the top model supra. yes, it is true. supra is cheaper and more easy to upgrade but stock for stock, the nsx is faster.

I would take the supra. I think it looks better than the nsx. Plus I would enjoy modding it more.

They are totally different beasts. I find the NSX as more of a naturally aspirated track beast. Although im guessing parts are rare and hard to come by. I bet the NSX is also expensive to work on. The supra can be modified to huge amounts of power with just a little cash. I would pick the supra. Its a beast in every form. Either way, one things for sure: both are damn great cars.

Supra, due to the excellent tuning potential.

But a Supra can be built to handle very well.

Dollar for dollar, I think the supra would be more fun to drive. The money you spend on an NSX would give you alot of tuning options in a Supra.

NSXs still look pretty impressive though...

The NSX is a little faster, I think, at least in the 1/4 mile it is. BTW how did you get that picture in your signiature?

Search the internet for how to pull codes on a Supra. When the computer senses an error, it stores an error code. If you have a Super Monitor, pulling the code is easy (turn key to on, hold SELECT + M for three seconds until it says DIAG, then hold SET for three seconds. Be sure to push in select before M and hold them both down.)

If you don't have a super monitor, it's a little harder, but can easily be done with a small peice of wire under the dash in the diagnostic connector.
