97 accord gauge replacement

I felt really dumb after spending an hour pulling my dash apart and then not being able to figure out how to get the needles off the gauges. I didnt have the time to keep playing with it. If some one has done this please let me know how its done. O yeah...I got very poor instructions with the kit so if you could direct me in the wiring process i would appreciate it.
