cliffud 01-24-2002, 05:16 PM how's it goin fellas and fellates- i've been on here for a bit now and every now and then i see someone with a DET engine popped into their car. now- i know with all the tweaking there is possible i'm sure the DET will make a billion hp at the wheels- but- how much power does it really put out for the average joe shmoe who just drops the motor into his lil G?? stick shift or automatic - it doesn't really matter - we'll just compare before/after outputs with either tranny. anyone have any data on this?? thanks everyone. -clifford spnx 01-24-2002, 05:21 PM A difference? Stock G20 with an SR20DE = 140hp at the flywheel Stock BB SR20DET = ~210hp at the flywheel (with no mods) Well, it's only 70 horsepower!. A few of the guys here have put in a DET, added an exhaust and intake and make 230+hp. So, that's about a 90 horsepower difference.
